Retail Industry Leaders Association publishes case study on H&M/TW collaboration

The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) has published a new Case Study, outlining how H&M collaborated with their landlords and Transformative Wave to increase energy efficiency and reduce their electric usage by 36,000 kWh per store, saving $2,500 per store annually.

In other markets with higher utility costs these results would translate to much higher dollar savings ($3,600 to $5,000).  The RILA analysis covers a subset of H&M's 600-store portfolio.  Transformative Wave was selected by H&M in 2016 to apply its technologies as a portfolio-wide building management platform.

Utility rebates and incentives covered costs for approx. 40% of the retrofit projects. TW handled this as a turn-key project partner for H&M's stores located in North America.

IAQ and Ventilation Compliance are vital focal points as multi-site businesses safely operate in this new pandemic environment, but the costs associated with that compliance and verification can be greatly or entirely offset by implementing energy efficiency upgrades like Transformative Wave's CATALYST and Cobalt technology.
